I'm currently led in bed with the sun shining through my window with my gorgeous little pooch Remy joining me by my side. I thought while I was having a quiet rest it was time I wrote a post and got back into the swing of things.
Before my lack of posting I was doing a '30 day challenge' which I have continued with but not posted them so once I have finished this little update/moan/ramble I will post those and an updated version of my bucket list.
I have come up with a goal which is that I would like to do a blog post twice a week if I'm up to it and I'm always looking for ideas so if anyone has any suggestions I'd like to hear them!
So I probably should update everything to do with my health and what's been going on..
Most of the people who know me on Facebook and other social media knew that last year I had an operation on my ankle - since then my health has taken a huge nose dive into even more crap than I was dealing with before. We think that the trauma of the operation and the general anaesthetic involved made my heart and other systems take a turn for the worst. I have been so weak, relying on a wheelchair to go anywhere, whereas before I would walk when I could most of the time, I feel awful after litterally a couple of minutes of any sort of activity, it being walking a few steps, having a bath etc. This has meant that I have felt so ill I haven't wanted to do as much because anything just makes me feel like I'm dying.
I went back up to London earlier this year and had some more tests. The results from those tests diagnosed me with another couple of horrible conditions.
There's no treatment for my life limiting illnesses, they can only treat the symptoms such as giving pain relief, anti emetics and other meds for my heart, bowel, stomach and other organs & symptoms.
I have been really struggling with feed and getting hydration so my dietician is currently thinking about other ways and contacting Drs and other people to try figure a way to get the fluids and such I need to try help me feel more 'alive'. The less fluid & feed i have the worse I will feel. Because my body Is just trying to burn energy I do not have.
I think that's enough about my health, I'm sure there's loads I've missed but that's a *short!!!* update of what's going on!
In other news I am getting a new wheelchair on Friday which I have been waiting for, for a lonnnng time! It is going to be so much more supportive and comfortable so hopefully I will be able to get out for longer periods of time and be more comfy than I am with my current one. It's really old and knackard - just like me!
Also some nice news is that my boyfriend is taking me away on a short break in June, to Weymouth and I'm really looking forward to it. It'll be even better with my new chair and I always feel better by the sea. So I can't wait for that!
Some more lovely news is that my wonderful mum has made me a very special beautiful garden with the theme of by the seaside. I am going to do a seperate post about that but my gosh it's soo lovely!
I think that will be it for this post, so thank you if you got this far..
Love and light
Rosie xx
