Day 3: your favourite store

I actually have two major favourites and can't pick just one so these 2 our my favourite shops! And I love the stuff they have in right now so many beautiful things as always.

River island is my favourite shop for tops and dresses. I also have the most amazing white lace playsuit which I've had for maybe 2 years and it's still beautiful now. They always have good quality beautiful pieces and so reasonably priced.

Miss Selfridge is my other favourite shop and I adore absolutely everything they do. I can't go near the shop without going in and buying something. I have many lovely items from Miss Selfridge which I call my favourites.

Shopping haul from Tuesday 28th oct

Hey everyone! Hope you're all ok as can be!

I had a little day out yesterday which was Tuesday and on our way home we popped into town into the shops and had a little look around.

Mum needed a couple of things and I wanted to try start getting some Christmas presents for people so I'm organised cause of all the hospital stuff that's going on.

I managed to get a few presents and then I got myself some pretty things, mostly for London next month when I go to hospital as I wanted some loose dresses as I will be in wheelchair sat down most of the time and can't wear trousers and need space for my bag and tube. I managed to find a couple and a nice top and some other little bits.

These were a couple of scarfs that I saw were really pretty and I thought they would be good to wear with loads of different outfits so I got those!

I then got this dress which I thought was nice and will hide my bag and tube quite well as it's a two piece in one which I will show you with other photos below

It's like a top attached to a dress if that makes sense! I really liked it and the material as I hate anything to clingy these days.

Loved this dress cos I'm really into the print at the moment and it was really nice material again and a nice length.

This was the top I bought, it's oversized and really light which I like and it's really similar to one of my all time favourite tops which I have in grey and I liked this colour for something different for me.

I got these really cute little earrings which I thought were lovely. I'm always loosing earrings around the house so needed some new ones and picked these as thought they were me :).

I also came across the most amazing calendar for next year which is made up of nail varnishes so I bought it as a treat for myself as I love doing my nails!

These are all the nail bits that are included! There are some gorgeous colours! I can't wait to try them out and see what they are like. I will do a little post on what I think of them when I do my nails next.

I also got a lipstick and with the lipstick I got a free eye shadow pallet but unfortunately it was all smashed and some colours missing :(.

It's a really nice dark red colour and I love it. I normally go for pinks but wanted to have a change.

Mum also bought me a lovely pretty bangle which I absolutely love thank you mum!

It's really cute with a little heart.

And then my lovely busy day ended with the most beautiful cuddles from my gorgeous little dog Remy which was a perfect end to a long day

I love her more than words could ever explain.

Day 2 of the 30 day blog challenge

Day 2: a photo of something you have eaten today.

Well this photo probably won't be as lovely and tasty as other peoples photo but I will go ahead and show you what I have been 'eating' today anyway!!

Mmmm yummy milky goodness... NOT!

This is my enternal feed which I get through my jejenostomy tube which I get all my nutrition through.

And here is another picture of real food that I will be nibbling on at some part of today..

My favourite sweets foam strawberries!!! And they are drainable through my bag which makes them even better so instead of them making me vomit they just come out of my bag.

Well that's my exciting food for day 2!

Day 1 of the 30 day blog challenge

Day 1: a photo of yourself and a discription of how your day was.

Me and my beautiful pup remy.

Today I put makeup on and got myself looking presentable for the local PINNT meet up. Mum took me and we had a lovely afternoon talking to another girl with her mum and some health professionals. It was nice to get out and see people for a bit. After on our way home we popped into some shops and I got a couple of Christmas presents and picked up a couple of things for myself for London next month.

Overall it was a lovely day spent with lovely people and the wheelchair wasn't an issue at all and it went so smoothly it hasn't put me off going out again with it

Little update!

Hey guys!!!

How are you all doing?

It's been a couple of weeks since my op and since my last post so I thought id do a little update and try catch up on my planned posts for the blog!

My op went as well as it could and I had a checkup on weds just gone and all is looking ok as can be right now.

I have my amazing (not) boot to wear until December which makes everything just that little bit more difficult but it's life and I can deal with it!

I have been feeling terrible with really high temperatures due to infections, not 100% sure where the infections are coming from other than my stomas so waiting on swabs to see which anti biotics are the right ones for me so they can finally change them on to the most suitable ones if needs be than the ones I'm on at the moment. Just a waiting game now and we will keep nagging them for the answer!!

I haven't been able to do a lot since my op and have spent most of my time in my lovely bed watching films on Netflix and some trashy tv! Does anyone have any suggestions on films/tv series that I could watch?

I did manage to get to my granny's house last weekend to meet my cousins beautiful baby girl Martha which was absolutely amazing! She's so beautiful and tiny and just SUPER cute!! I had a lovely time giving her cuddles and seeing the family.

My little pup companion remy has pretty much been by my side constantly since my op and seems to know that I'm not too well as she is being very gentle and not jumping on me as much as she has done in the past and she is just loving to snuggle up next to me under my quilt. She will tap my arm for me to lift the quilt up for her and then she goes under and lays next to me spread out. It's so cute!!! Love her so much. It's amazing how a dog can make you so happy and show so much love. Sometimes I think dogs/other pets are nicer than humans! I love my fur babies.

Anyway I think this will be the end of my little update now but I will be doing some other posts over the next couple days so keep an eye out if you want to see what I will be doing!

I think of you all so often and am sending millions of hugs!!!

Why? Why is life so cruel to the kindest people?

I don't have the words to explain how shocked and broken me and many of my friends in the Gastroparesis support groups are feeling.

I keep asking myself why, why does this keep on happening to these beautiful inspiring people? why them and not someone else who has done something bad why these poor innocent kind souls, why do they have to suffer and leave the world so prematurely?

This life is so not fair and this illness is a silent killer, litterally hardly anyone knows about it but so so many beautiful people are loosing their precious lifes to it too often! It's so scary and heartbreaking.

We live in fear because there is so much unknown and not enough research or help out there for us.

I want to say what an amazing special woman Samantha was and I'm so glad I had the privilege to know her even though it was due to this illness. Samantha was always so caring, funny and helpful to everyone! She was a truly special person who suffered so much but stayed so strong. She is loved and remembered by many and my love goes out to her precious family and special friends.

I will end this post by simply saying 'Live like it's your last day, love like no other and laugh,always'. Rosie x

The op is over

Hey guys this will be a really short quick post.

Most of you know or would have known that I had my op on Friday. I was in theatre for a lot longer than expected and my surgeon was surprised how I was managing with how bad things were.

I had some problems with being able to keep my oxygen levels up so needed some help.

We tried to stop oxygen and they would drop significantly again but I have a bad chest infection which is contributing to making me feel so poorly.

I am home in my own bed with my wonderful mum looking after me which makes me happy, my lovely mum is my nurse mummy bringing me meds to keep my pain levels down and me topped up so I don't get to the point where it's too much, helping me to bathroom, dressing/washing me, doing my bag and my tube, checking in on me and keeping me company! I have the best mum in the world and I can't explain just how much she means to me. I love you mummy! Thank you for everything you do and have done for me!

Hope you are all ok as can be and thank you to everyone who has asked how I am or sent a message.

Hopefully I will be back to my old self soon enough

Preparing for hospital!

So I thought id do a little post about how I'm gunna be preparing myself for hospital and my operation on Friday!

I also thought this was a good way to put everything down in writing so I could make a list and tick things off once I have them ready and together!

I have no idea how long I will be in so if anyone has any suggestions of what I may need or what you guys take in for a hospital admission then id love to hear your input! Even though I've been in and out of hospital literally hundreds of times before!

I go in on Friday at 7am and anyone who knows me well will know that I hate early wake ups and mornings!! So I will be in a brilliant mood on Friday morning ;). Im 2nd on the list to go down to theatre for my operation so that could be from any time between 8-10am. I will make sure someone keeps everyone up to date with what's going on.

Due to my complex and serious health problems any operation needing a general anesthetic is very dangerous for me to have and becomes a life threatening situation to me but thankfully I have a great team of surgeons, very experienced anesthetic consultants and a brilliant HDU/ICU team (high dependency or intensive care units) who will be doing there upmost to protect me and my heart and keep me as safe and as well as possible. I may need some help with my breathing afterwards and during there could be some scary times but right now we are just going to take it one step at a time. I won't be aware of what's going on so it's mum and Adam I feel bad for because they will have the dreaded wait to hear what is going on. I hate putting the people I care about the most through these awful times, if I could change things I really would. I am so grateful that I will have my wonderful mum and amazing boyfriend there with me holding my hands and supporting me Aswell as supporting each other while I'm in theatre. I love how well they get on and it makes me so happy to see and I feel a little better knowing they have each other there while I'm not around so neither of them will be alone.

This op has been on the cards for a good several months now but had been canceled due to my heart and other problems but as now we know there is nothing that will change my situation they have decided we are just gonna go with it and I have said whatever happens, happens... If it's my time then it's my time and if it's not my time to go then it's not. But I'm not scared and I'm not frightened anymore. Death used to scare the living daylight out of me and litterally filled me with panic but now I see death as a peaceful pain free place where I can look after all I love from above. But I have no plans on going anywhere anytime soon. This operation will be scary for us all in some way but I know I'm in the best hands no matter what happens and I know everything possible will be done to help and do the right thing.

•pump and feeds

•shower/hair/body shiz

And now this is where my mind goes completely BLANK!!!

Currently I can't think of anything else but I think that's due to being in pain and having a stressful day so I may add more later. If anyone has any tips feel free to say or any questions feel free to ask me.

On Friday I will make sure someone keeps you all updated and filled in on what's happening.

I'm still over the moon about Saturday and when I'll be being put to sleep on Friday I shall defiantly be rambling on to the nurses and ansthetic Drs about the night! Telling them about all the amazing people I met and what fun I had:).

Robbie Williams tribute and raffle night

Well where do I start! The night went amazingly well and I had the time of my life. The memories we created for me, my family and friends are amazing and I will cherish them for however long I have left in this beautiful world. And my family and friends will always remember them after I'm gone.

I had such an amazing time and I can't explain how touched I was and how much it all meant to me.

The amount of support from absolutely everyone was just out of this world, from friends, family to people I have never met before. It truly was outstanding and I will never ever be able to express just how grateful I am for everything that you all have done for me!

The raffle was amazing with tonnes of beautiful prizes donated which went to their new homes.

The Robbie Williams tribute act was absolutely fabulous and out of this world. Such a laugh and so many smiles happened.

The night couldn't have gone any better it was the time of my life and I still am feeling absolutely overwhelmed by it all!

I haven't got enough words to explain just how much it means to me and the love everyone has shown to me just over powers me and I am so outstanded my the support from each and everyone who were involved.

This will stick with me until it's my time to go and I hope you all will remember me in the good times instead of the sad times.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Trudy and Alison for organising it and to all the other special people who were involved to make it the amazing night that it was.

People like you lot give me the hope to keep on fighting on and trying my best to live my life to the fullest!

When I go to London for hospital I will defiantly be making more amazing memories which I will share with you all.

I love each and everyone of you and I think the world of you all and couldn't imagine life without any of you now.

So thank you so much !
